To ensure a seamless journey through the Philippines' primary gateways, all passengers are advised to adhere to the following updated protocols for domestic and international travel.

🏠 Domestic Travel

Local Flights Within Philippines

Travel streamlined with digital check-ins and decongested terminal flow.

2 hours minimum (3 hours during peak from NAIA/MCIA)

Valid Government ID + e-Ticket

eTravel: Not required unless specified by LGU

🌍 International Travel

Flights To/From Philippines

Mandatory digital declarations and enhanced security screenings.

✓ Immigration Process
  • Departure: Bring QR Code, Passport, Boarding Pass
  • Arrival: Use e-Gates (Terminals 1 & 3)
✓ Required Documents
  • Passport (6+ months validity)
  • Proof of onward/return travel
  • Valid Visa (if applicable)
Additional Reminders
  • Passport: Must be valid for at least six months from your date of departure.
  • Proof of Employment: Provide your certificate of employment or other equivalent documents.
  • Government Employees: Please secure and bring your official Authority to Travel.
  • Minors and Infants: A PSA birth certificate is required. If a child is traveling with a guardian, a DSWD Clearance is also mandatory.
  • Visa: Please ensure you have obtained a visa if one is required for your destination.

✈ Updated NAIA Terminal Guide (April 2026)

Under the New NAIA Infrastructure Corp (NNIC) Management

Use this as a general planning guide only. Always reconfirm the terminal printed on your ticket or with your airline before departure, as airline allocations may continue to change during the NAIA transition period.

Terminal 1: International Terminal & AirAsia International Hub
  • AirAsia Philippines: International flights transferred here effective March 29, 2026.
  • Philippine Airlines (PAL): Selected international flights, including some long-haul routes.
  • Foreign Carriers: Continues to serve multiple international airlines, though assignments may vary.

Note: Some foreign carriers previously at Terminal 1 have been reassigned to Terminal 3.

Terminal 2: Domestic Operations Hub
  • Philippine Airlines (PAL): Primary domestic terminal.
  • AirAsia Philippines: Domestic flights operate here, subject to schedule changes.
  • Other Domestic Carriers: Some regional and leisure-focused flights may also operate here depending on airline assignment.
Terminal 3: Major Hub for Cebu Pacific & Additional International Carriers
  • Cebu Pacific: Main hub for many domestic and international flights.
  • Recently Reassigned Carriers: Includes airlines such as Japan Airlines, Air China, China Eastern, and Royal Brunei following terminal redistribution.
  • Other International Airlines: Several foreign carriers continue to operate here depending on current allocation.
Terminal 4: Regional / Smaller Aircraft Terminal
  • Smaller Domestic Operators: Traditionally used by regional carriers and select domestic routes.
  • Turboprop Services: Some turboprop and short-haul domestic operations may use this terminal, subject to airline scheduling.
